The characters in Act 1 show trust is a big part because how hamlets friend have to hold a secret for hamlet. Also how Hamlet’s father trust Hamlet with some advice to keep in mind. Hamlet’s father probably has few trust in people now especially after getting killed from his own brother. It also shows that Polonius has very few trust in his son and sends someone to go and spy on him at school.
