Final essay
When I hear of Hamlet I think of some sort of ham. I was wrong it’s a play about a prince named Hamlet. But just like the ham Hamlet goes through many changes in his lifetime. There are many dynamic characters in this play. All that have different stories. One dynamic character is Hamlet. He faces many changes from finding out the truth of his fathers death, to have to play a role in society and also dying.
Hamlet has to face a change on who he is and who he will be. He heard from some information from his dead dad and his dad told him your uncle killed me and your mom was in on it. That is some life changing stuff. Let me tell you the good part this is barely the inciting incident. Hamlet has to put a lot of thought on what he does next or says.
One theme I can pull out from this play is you cannot trust anybody, but yourself: Hamlet has to act different around his friends and family for they would not know what is going on with him. He probably thought, “ if my own mother can turn against me anybody will.” Hamlet had to watch out for himself because he did not know who was scheming against him. Having to play a role because you do not know who to trust in your own society is rough.
During the falling action a lot of death occurs. Even Hamlet faces death. Hamlet got stabbed with a sword that had a poison on the tip in a sword fight. This is the last change that Hamlet experiences in the play and in his life. Don’t think he won’t the fight or even lost it. It was simply a draw.
From finding out the truth, to playing a role and then dying after everything. That is a huge roller coaster of a life that I would not want to be apart of. Although there are many things occur in this play you can say that there really is not a climax because the story has action throughout all of it. Even though there are many dynamic characters Hamlet has to be the most important one. One last tip, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Flashback to Hamlet’s life that is exactly what he had to do to get what he wanted.
